Taking the first step as an apprentice
The Company has a high proportion of skilled, professionally qualified engineers and technicians focussed on not only the design and development of high technology products, but also on the maintenance, repair and support of in-service technology.
Candidates that are offered an advanced Modern Apprenticeship opportunity are trained in fundamental engineering principles and gain practical experience.
The Scheme takes approximately 4 years to complete, and will require the individual to undertake vocational training, key skills and study for a Technical Education Certificate at a local college.
Successful candidates need to commit to undertaking a comprehensive training programme, on-the-job training and completing a portfolio of evidence-in line with NVQs.
After completing a four-year apprenticeship, they become a highly skilled and invaluable member of the business.
