Jacinto Class Patrol Vessel PS36 Achieves Successful SAT in the Philippines

Ultra Electronics Command & Sonar Systems (Ultra CSS) is pleased to announce that it has achieved a successful Sea Acceptance Trial (SAT) on Jacinto Class Patrol Vessel (JCPV) PS36 in the Manila Bay, Philippines on Thursday 16 May, supported by Leonardo and MSI.

The Ultra CSS JCPV project team has successfully worked to complete the installation integration and acceptance of the Ultra Type 1700 Electro-Optical Fire Control System, a surveillance radar and navigation instrumentation plus refurbishment of the ships 76mm and 25mm guns, delivering a fully integrated, up to date combat system to the Philippine Navy.

On completion of SAT, PS36 is now able to play its part in the annual Philippine Navy celebration day on the 17th June, which will be attended by the Philippine President.
